It’s hard to believe that it’s 2 years ago today that Gary said goodbye to us all.
I remember the day vividly.
Musically, Gary played a very big part in my life, a hero of mine, and is missed.
My thoughts are with his family and friends.
Mark

Huge influence on my playing. Miss him and didn’t know him personally. Thankfully we have his music and videos to remember just how great of a player Gary was. There will never be another.
Dave

Rest in peace Gary, You will always be remembered, today and everyday...
Ivan

...and on this day, 2 years on, Gary's music plays out loud and proud here...
a few years ago I went to see Gary Moore with BB King at Wembley Arena, and I have to say, that was one of the best concerts ever! The atmosphere was simply incredible, I've never forgotten it.
Bea

I have been watching Gary "Live In Belfast 1989" today what a concert and guitarist and what a loss.
RIP Gary we miss you.
Denis

We miss you so the last 2 years Gary.
It was a great honor to see some of your brilliant concerts in Germany.

Good work y’all for keeping Gary’s memory alive.
Was outside GAK in Brighton with my stepson, visiting with the ‘other’ Gary, that’s Gary Marshall, a Horsham boy like me, and also a good muso (The Hotknives), when Gary said “I’m gonna introduce you to somebody”…
None other than THE Gary Moore, standing right behind me, who was introduced, said a genuine “hello, nice to meet you” and shook hands with the boy too…
We probably looked like a couple of goldfish standing stupid with our mouths open. You don’t get a better buzz and every time I pass GAK, that little piece of magic comes back.
“Peace be with you Gary”, thanks for the music…
Simon

I have been listening to Gary almost daily since the late 70's and for the last 30 years there has almost never been a single day that I have not listen to Gary. I have done 16 surgeries to me legs and it has been Gary Moore and his music that has taken me through all the hard times. I have seen him performance live six times and the most memorable concerts was with Queen in Stockholm 1986 and the famous Live at Isstadion Stockholm 1987. I never though that I could cry over a death for someone that I did not know in person, but on the 6'th of februari 2011 I did. Today and tonight I am watching some Gary Moore concerts and listening to his forever living music, my favorite song all times is Empty Rooms. I did never like that blues stuff so for me is Gary as his best up until the after the war album. I will NEVER forget Gary, and this summer I hope to travel from Sweden to visit his grave

I think of you Gary
Peter

I never met you but I felt like I knew you. The emotion you poured into every note left a lasting impression.
One of my biggest regrets in my life is not making the trip to Europe to see you perform live. It was on my bucket list but unfortunately god had other plans. Your music lives on in my home and my heart forever. Rest in peace sir. There will never be another like you, sadly missed and never forgotten.
Terry

While your music is part of the soundtrack of my life (and that will never change), you will live in my heart.
Jordi

Life is hard, couldn't follow many good guys on rock for a while. Wished to know what's up on Gary in Wikipedia and wondered he passed away. I'm very sad to have known the old news, really very sad.
Daniel

Gary is and always has been a big hit in our family of music from the slow blues solos that my Irish mother loved, to the heavy raw Scars tunes that I still try to follow note for note.
I listen to you every day 365!!! can't get enough of you, I know your out there somewhere with Jimmi & SRV.

Gary, listening to you play which is one the purest guitar sounds ever, brings me right back to growing up in Dublin where your sound was one of the towns biggest features.
Thanks for making it special,
Margaret

I regret not seeing him live when I had the chance, always thought that he would be there miss him so much...what a loss

Since getting your autograph in 1979 at the Edinburgh odeon with Thin Lizzy I was hooked. My favourite all time performance is the live version of separate ways recorded in London. It is sublime. It makes me so emotional as it is so good.
RIP
Keith
